Dennis Peters has currently been in Italy visiting his family.  The weather had been warm, 85*-90* for this time of the year.  His daughter, Sherrina started back to teach English at the Italian Naval Academy, October 5 and the boys are both busy with school and soccer.  Her oldest son, Lorenzo, made the elite traveling team for his age group.  Dennis watched his first game but unfortunately they lost 3-2 to a group next older than Lorenzo’s.

Hopefully, everyone has received his or her Rush County United Fund donation form. They were in with the water bills which were sent out last week. There are extra copies at the library beside the large collection envelope. Checks can be made out to "Rush County United Fund." A big thank you to Georgia for stuffing the envelopes and to those who have already turned in their donations. This is such a wonderful opportunity for all of us to give.

Is this obsessive?  I was in the public bathroom and a lady washed her hands.  She left the water running while she went to get a towel, dried her hands, then came back to shut off the water with the towel.  She then went to the bathroom door, opened it with another paper towel and threw the towel down by the door.  Not only did she waste water and towels, she littered!  As a Girl Scout we were taught to leave a place better than what we found it.
