Kathy Osborn and Susan Davis both underwent back surgery this past week in Hays. We understand they are doing well.
Congratulations to Caley Schuckman and Daniel Clinkscales on their marriage, Saturday, September 21. Parents of the couple are Myron and Debi Schuckman and Randy and Barbara Clinkscales.
Roy and Phyllis Conrad along with Albert and Louise Zordel of Ransom attended the 4th annual Bricks, Bronco's and BBQ at Russell on Saturday. Chris Zordel of Spearville was one of 14 teams to compete in the BBQ contest. Chris took 7th in Chicken, 10th in Ribs, 6th in Pork and 3rd in Brisket. He rated 3rd place in Overall event.

A birthday party was held for Dena Irvin at the Cedar Bluff Lake last weekend.
The Big Timber Bridge south of Liebenthal met with a wrecking ball this week as a construction project to widen the bridge began. The $1,251,000 will increase the width of the bridge by 44feet.
An open house and card shower honoring Katharen Rodeman on her 90th birthday will be held Sunday at the McCracken Masonic Hall. Clara McCormick will also celebrate her 90th birthday this week with an open house Sunday at the American Legion.

James Howell, Seattle, has been visiting Thayne and Machree Jones. He was the best man at their wedding as he and Thayne attended college together.
