He misses his family he said, however he does have cousins in Ireland. Arline and her family all thought he seemed well. They then visited friend, Joy Johnson, wife of Keith Johnson who died recently in June. He was about 10 years younger than Arline and they went to school in Lewis schools. They had 2 boys who are grown and fine people. Joy, mentioned Keith teaching in Colorado, Lewis and Wichita. Keith was a good musician and football player too. Their visit with Pat Huffman was their next dear friend
Pat and her family had lived in Burdette. After her husbands death & children leaving, she moved to Wichita. Pat was a wonderful guide for our school. She kept us so things were just right. Arline has kept in touch with her; however the last while she has grown to just think of wonderful times and not written letters.
