Blaine Scheideman stopped by the home of Linda Dale Sunday, he is the son of Russell and Goldie Tanck Scheideman. He has lived in the Fort Worth area for over 40 years, took a month off from work and was just ‘traveling’. His Scheideman grandparents, John and Anna lived in the brick home where Glenn Pfannenstiel now lives.
 
A celebration of life and Skyler Jones’ 23rd birthday was held Friday evening in the back yard of his mother, Rose Jones. Those attending were Debbie, Hailey, Bridgett, Rose, Sierra, Scotty, Red, Sheila, Cecilia, Daniel, Jen, Kayla, Tina, Jen,Tyrel, Butch, Andy, Austin, Kaylie, Ciera & her two sons. Another celebration will be held later for those who didn’t attend this one.
 
A beautification meeting was held Monday at the library with Debi Schuckman, Ali Ault, Twila Higgins, Jean Schutte, Austin McGaughey, Linda Dale and Rose Diehl.  At 11:00 p.m. L.A.R. & D. had a wine and weeds party in front of the Jail/Museum pulling bind weed, stickers and weeds.
 
Saturday evening Rose Jones was a supper guest of Buddy and Melissa Curry in Hargrave. Also attending was their son Brandon and some of his friends.
 
A library meeting was held Monday evening at the McCracken Public Library. Two new board members attended, Sally Irvin and Mark McCormick along with Rose Diehl, Linda Dale, Melanie Zeller, Sharon Irvin, Kenny Foster and Charmaine Wolfe.
 
Brian Legleiter has erected a cross at the site of the accident that took the life of Skyler Jones .
