Remember all these friends who impacted our lives: Russ Linsey and his love for Laura, his wife of ten years, Machree Jones every time you look at beautiful flowers and her grandson Ethan, Betty Greenway who loved gardening, family and service to senior citizens, and Kathy Osborne her devotion to Sid and Sid, Jr. and the peaceful spot she rests in the Brownell Cemetery, Deaths have been so hard lately for the McCracken community. If you will notice in last week's Rush County News there were nine deaths in the area. That must be a record. Emma Moeder shared my love for the Girl Scouts and her daughter Patricia was in my county wide Senior Scout troop.

Best of luck to the 4 x 100 relay track team from LaCrosse High School who qualified for the State Track Meeting in Wichita on Friday and Saturday.
