LOOKING BACK: July 1935 The McCracken Town Team drove to Palco on July 4th and defeated that team 14-8. Flegge and Lovitt pitched the game. Victoria came to McCracken and won a close one by a score of 5-3. Lefty Brown (Braun) was in the box for the visitors and he pitched a nice game. Flegge also worked nice for McCracken. A big argument came up late in the game and it is not settled yet. Some of the fans have written in to their favorite sport writer for a decision on this play. This seems to be a season of freak plays and unusual decisions. The regular Hoisington team plays a return game here Sunday. Come out to this game, it will be a thriller.
