The new tables and chairs at the Community Building were bought with money given to the McCracken Alumni in memory of loved ones. Money from your dues and memorials is given back to the community; to the rodeo, library, legion, swimming pool and park. The letter is almost ready to be mailed, so be looking for yours in the mail. Please response, DONT throw it away!!

Rumor has it that Mayor John Zeller was seen behind the wheel of the 1941 McCracken Fire Truck Tuesday afternoon. Several passengers were spotted on board, including five 1975 MHS graduates. They were Rose (Rues) Diehl, Linda (Sloan) Dale, Debi (Baus) Schuckman, Rob McGaughey, and Jerry Higgins (James Unrein left a bit early and just missed out on the ride). Also on board were Cathie (Ryan) Shapiro, Austin McGaughey, Norma and Roger McNair. It is believed they were cruising the streets of McCracken as a tribute to their beloved comrade Glenn "Smoe" Ryan, who was known to have commandeered the fire truck on several late night practice excursions years ago. We will certainly miss him. Other classmates who attended the funeral services were Sally (Buster) Buster and Kent Brown.
Congratulations to all the graduates in the area, both junior high and high school. To those that received gifts, it is nice courtesy to send thank you notes. Brides and new mothers and birthdays also included!!
