This news of Addie Mills was missed last week! Addie Mills was a Saturday luncheon guest of Evelyn Crosby. They attended funeral services for Millie Carper Ideker and also visited with residents in Long Term Care.
 
Diane Osborn and Addie Mills enjoyed watching the KU barnstorming game at Hays High on Sunday afternoon.
 
A Memorial Day dinner will be held at the Community Club, Monday, May 30th after services at the McCracken Cemetery.
 
Boondock’s Bar & Grill will be open Memorial Day, May 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.
 
Tammy Irvin and Cameron attended Commencement for Katy Tajchman and Kasi Demel at Barton County Community College Thursday evening.
 
For our silent auction during rodeo weekend the Alumni will have 2 tickets for Kenny Chesney, July 30th at Arrowhead Stadium. They are located seat section 120, row 26, seats 9 & 10.
 
In the Summer 2011 edition of Kansas Living, a publication of Farm Bureau, a picture of Ness County farmer/stockmen Larry and Eric Weeks and Chuck Walker, members of an identification program, BVS to track cattle from the cows to the calves to the processing plant. Pictured were Eric and sons Dalton, Dakota and Dracen; Chuck and Larry.
 
Ensign Austin Pfannenstiel graduated March 25 from NPTU (Nuclear Prototype Training Unit) in Ballsten Spa, NY. He is serving on the USS Nebraska, stationed in Banger, Washington. He is the son of Mitchell and Robin Pfannenstiel, grandson of Norman and Glenda Pfannenstiel.
 
Brian and Lisa Davis and family, Hutchinson were guests of his parents, Bruce and Susan Davis this Saturday.
 
An after graduation get-to-gather was held for Sierra Jones for family and friends in LaCrosse.
