The case of the elevator bins…….they are like rabbits --- they keep multiplying. For now, there are two older bins and three newer bins. I need to be more observant.

I am also getting excited about the Doppler Radar site on Highway 4.

Won't it be fun to see all the wind turbines when they are in service by Brownell.

Jason, Michele and Marge Moran went to Clark, Nicole and Madison's for Easter Dinner. John, Ellen and Josh and Cliff and Carol Kirk also attended.

It was nice to see Julius Unrein in Hays. Part of the fun shopping in Hays is seeing old friends.

Our sympathy to the family of Alex McCormick, 88, who died April 6, 2015. He was always willing to help with the Honor Guard for the American Legion in McCracken. Blessings on Wanda who was a devoted caretaker. Burial will be in Texas.

Congratulations to my granddaughter, Jenna Higgins, Hutchinson High School senior. She was a member of the Hutchinson News’ all-Reno County team. Jenna finished by making a school single-season record 56 3s and was also their top on-ball defender. Jenna doesn’t plan to play collegiate athletics. She plans to attend University of Kansas.

Easter weekend guests of Francis & Roberta Wierman were: Rita Brethowr-Park City, George & Marilyn Sommers-Silver Lake, Ray, Laura, Jennifer & Jerrod Wierman-Bennington, Jill, Brayden & Hailey Herschbach-Liberty MO, Shane, Jill, Ivan & Tessa Brethowr of Olathe and Cindy Wierman of Olathe.

Easter weekend guests of Shirley were Chuck, Tammy and Kyra. Saturday they were joined by Cameron, Courtney, Jerry, Jenna and Tanner.

Priscella Jacobs and Mitchell, Chad and Crystal Foust, Anton and Kaden joined Drew VonLehe and Nicole Ryan and his family in Ness City for Easter.

Drake and Grant Timson arrived from Mc Pherson to Mc Cracken just in time for their annual Easter Egg hunt! Wow! Did they have a fun time. It was a bit chilly, but they didn't seem to mind! They were having too much fun gathering treats and breaking the piñatas. Good Job, Mc Cracken community

Brett and Holly Gilbert, Erica and Courtney joined Babe and Arlene Gilbert Sunday for Easter. Hailey Gilbert couldn’t come because she had to work.

Rose Diehl, Arline Rues, Addie Mills and Susan Davis attended the Messiah in Lindsborgh on Sunday. They enjoyed Easter dinner at the Swedish Crown. I understand Tayler Stull helped with the Messiah.

Helena McGaughey and Austin shared ‘working’ in Ransom at the hospital/nursing home. How fun!! They were later guests of Aaron and Leslie McGaughey, Jack and Lillian and her parents for Easter dinner in LaCrosse.

Angie and Trent Timson and the boys had a nice evening visit with Grandma Dolores at the farm. Then they proceeded to Grandma Pat's home. Easter Sunday church services in La Crosse were attended by Angie, Trent, Drake, Grant, and Pat. Grandma Mary was picked up and a nice meal was prepared out at the farm. Grandma Pat
had fun hiding the Easter eggs once again for the boys.

Lance and Rachel Legleiter, Haydn, Tess and Lexie were guests of Mike and Sharolyn Legleiter in Hays. Saturday evening Hayden and Tess stayed with John and Melanie Zeller. Easter Sunday John and Melanie spent Easter with her mother, Ruth Axman in Hoisington Other family members were present.

Keil and Sarah Emerson have purchased a new home in Hays. Melanie Zeller spent Friday and Saturday helping paint and all that goes with refurbishing a new home.
