On Sunday afternoon Roy and Phyllis Conrad decided that they were going to go over and visit all the people from Lacrosse and McCracken area that they knew in the nursing homes. Our first stop was at Locust Grove to see Leonard Hepp and his first comment was, my favorite first cousin is here to see me. For 97 years old he really looks great and loves to visit. Secondly they saw Marvin (Porky) Holopirek which they didn't know he was there. They went on to visit a few at the Rush County Long Term Care. We started with Francis (Short) Wierman and Roberta then proceeded on to Julia Zeller and when we walked into her room Roy made the comment, Julia do you remember me and she said yes I do. You lived just up the blocked from me. Roy asked her if she had any chili for him because she would once in a while bring it into the grocery store. She also looked really great. Third on the list was Viola Depperschmidt. Of course she was knitting dish cloths and watching the religious channel on T.V. Sitting on the radiator was an egg carton and she had planted some tomato plants in it and she was going to give them away to anybody that wanted them. She has a very nice roommate to. Sorry, I don't remember her name. Upon leaving they also visited with Marge Elias. She also looked great. So please do take the time to visit, they would love to see you.

Audrey Irvin and Julie Ost’s duet in dancing received platinum, the choreography award, best of best and first place overall in their dance routine held in?? They are going somewhere this w/e.

Sorry.
