We had our Annual MCC Golf meeting on March 19th. Here are the highlights.

Attached is the OFFICIAL list of 2016 MCC tournaments. Destroy the TENTATIVE list I sent you previously as there have been changes. We eliminated the June 12th 4 person scramble and replaced it with a SATURDAY, June 4th MCC-La Crosse “K-4” tournament starting at MCC at 8:00 AM. This is one we have been trying to put together for a long time and should be one of the best tournaments of the year. We will tee off at MCC at 8:00 AM and play 9 holes. When done, we will drive to LCC in La Crosse and eat lunch at LCC. We will then finish with the final 9 holes at LCC. This is a 4 person scramble and cost is $100 per team! I am not sure yet if there will be a lunch cost, but I will let you know!!! I would like to see a lot of teams from MCC participate. Increased participation helps us all!

The course will be closed Thursday afternoon, April 28th for a LHS golf tournament. Feel free to come watch! Our work day is scheduled for Saturday, April 16th with a continuation/rain date of Saturday, April 23rd. We have a lot of projects so please come help. Both days start at 9:00 AM.

Dues for 2016 are the same: Family-$100: Single-$50; and out of area/student-$25. For 2017, dues will change! Family will increase to $125 per year and single to $65 per year. Out of area/student will stay at $25. All other fees are the same. Our priority “major” project is to raise money for a new roof and garage door on the shed plus adding an enclosed addition on the west side in which to park our tractor and mowers. We may have a meal at the Legion or city building or other event to start this fundraising off. Let me know if you have ideas, can donate items, etc.
