The Spring issue of the Kansas Traveler is now at the post office.  One of the articles is about the 38th Parallel that runs through Kansas.  A plaque showing the 38 North Latitude in Kansas is located at mile marker 88 south of the Matfield Green service area on the Kansas Turnpike.  The latitude line is better known for the 38th parallel because of the Korean Conflict – the division line between North and South Korea.
